there's a bug in my display.
a real fucking one.
i unplugged it a while ago, the fucker is still buzzing inside from time to time trying to get out.
what am i even supposed to do? even if it somehow gets out without dying inside of the damn thing, it could leave some eggs or something. did the display just forever become a fire hazard?

I just noticed "foreach" on npm is controlled by a single maintainer.
I also noticed they let their personal email domain expire, so I bought it before someone else did.
I now control "foreach" on NPM, and the 36826 projects that depend on it.

@pho4cexa how does https://orbital.rodeo/~pho4cexa/statuses/1.activityjson work? do you have a writeup of it or something? because that's super intruiging
watching hundred rabbits, a whole two people, speedrun an alternate-history timeline re-implementation of everything that was close to good about my first 10 years of computers really puts into perspective how wasteful and inefficient the industry is
they've accomplished 90% of the utility in 1% of the time and lines of code
there's something significant being demonstrated in the uxn space and it's way way bigger than two kids on a boat making weird retro styled software
Ig i'll do an #introduction ! My name is appa, and I'm a college student currently working on getting an art degree. My favorite things to draw are my silly little DnD characters and other fantasy inspired things (and also sometimes silly little cats.) Here are a few pieces I've made over the past year!
Hello I saw there's a lovely tag for #bats on here that has many cool fellows, here's a printable I did working with Nat'l Park Service in CA for kids for one of their bat events! Please enjoy and feel free to use.

so recently i've been thinking about making a modern terminal.
TUIs have a lot of advantages. they're composable (think tmux), you can easily attach to remote programs, they're cheap to render
but, it's 2022 and we're still using terminals from the 80s. every TUI app reimplements its own scrolling, buttons, resulting in a mess where everything works in a different way.
you can't copy text from TUI apps properly, because your terminal has no idea that there are different regions on the screen. if there are multiple side-by-side regions (think an IRC nicklist, or git.charm.sh's sidebar), you'll just copy all of them
we really could do better.
so, would anyone be interested in a project about making a terminal actually fit for TUI apps? i'd like to try working on it, and i'd really appreciate some diverse input
