Weird network issue today. I can resolve tilde.town in my browser, but SSH tells me there's a temporary DNS failure. When I try grabbing the IP address from my browser and SSHing to that, SSH tells me the network is unreachable.
Could be a local issue since this is a work computer and it was just updated, but it's been fine up until now.
Lately have had my head in "metaverse" space (as in Snow Crash), and I'm convinced Open Cobalt (http://www.opencobalt.net/home) is the closest thing we have right now (a spinoff from Croquet as seen in this 2003 demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXGLOiZUZ2U).
However, that appears to have died from lack of research funding or something, so I'm investigating more current branches of Smalltalk (e.g. Pharo).
