Just reminded myself of XBill and if you haven't played it / installed it, it's a nice piece of ephemera from the early days of Linux and the 1990s view of a certain graphical shell on top of DOS.

@craigmaloney Oh, man! I played this back in the day, but had completely forgotten about it until now. Thanks for reminding me. Both of the game, and the days when Linux people genuinely cared about OS diversity and there was a sense of solidarity amongst *nixes, instead of an attitude of "why are we letting shitty old POSIX/BSD hold us back?".
