Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the tilde.zone moderators.

1. Sexually explicit or violent media must be marked as sensitive when posting
   Media of this type must still be legal. Our server's jurisdiction is Germany.
2. No fascism, racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, casteism, or other bigotry
   Consequences will still occur for accidents or mistakes. Warnings are expected to be taken seriously and a pattern of *isms will result in more than just warnings.
3. No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies
4. No harassment or doxing of other users
5. No content illegal in Germany
   Did we mention our server's jurisdiction is Germany?
6. Do not share intentionally false or misleading information
   Repeated "accidental" sharing of such information in spite of warnings will result in harsher consequences.
7. No cryptocurrencies, NFTs, or unattributed LLM slop
   Showcasing AI experiments is probably ok, but please mark all AI generated content.
8. tilde.zone is not intended for minors. You must be at least 13 years of age to register here. At our sole discretion, accounts of known minors may be removed.
   Age restrictions are becoming a widespread problem. We don't get a choice in whether or not we comply. Our server's jurisdiction is Germany.
9. Please don't register on tilde.zone (this instance) for a media organisation, political organisation, government agency, or if you are seeking to establish a corporate brand presence.
10. When filling out this application, please give a reason why you feel that this community in particular is relevant to you.
    We use this to help determine whether applicants are genuine. We will use translation tools if we need to.
11. Actively using accounts on instances that we ban for being a source of content that violates our rules, is grounds for the termination of your tilde.zone account, at our sole discretion
